2008 Camp Session Tuesday, July 22 through Saturday, August 9, 2008
2008 Camp Fee

$25 non-refundable application fee required with completed application.  $400 remaining fee payable by 7/15/2008.  For more information, contact the camp office in Newmarket, NH.

2008 Arrival Times Wednesday, July 23, 2008, 10:30 AM.
2008 Departure Times Camp officially closes 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2008.  Parents should plan to arrive Saturday morning, between 9:30-11:00 AM, to allow sufficient time to pack up the camper's belongings, and check-out.  More details about the check-out process are provided in the camper application packet.
CIT Application Packet

The CIT application packet contains many forms (application, information for parents, and packing list, to name a few).  All the information provided on these forms helps ensure that your CIT has best of care and a great experience while at camp.

 

If your camper is a former 2006 or 2007 Senior Camper who has not yet been a CIT, please have your camper contact the CIT director to obtain the username and password to this special site where you'll both start the application process.

 

If your camper has have never attended Camp Carefree, or did not attend as a Senior Camper (age 15), please have your camper either contact the CIT director, or contact the off season camp office.

CIT Application Process 2008 Camp Carefree brochures will be mailed out to 2007 senior campers and other interested individuals who will be 16 years of age by August 1, 2008, as soon as they are available.  Application packets will be sent out upon receipt of the application request form.  The CIT selection process is outlined in the materials provided in the application packet.
Diabetic Supplies All insulin and diabetic supplies are provided, except pump supplies and Type II oral medications.  CITs using insulin pumps should bring enough supplies for two and a half weeks, including batteries.
Letters/Email Please write letters frequently.  Mail call is a major highlight of the camp day.  Letters to CITs should be sent to:
