If your camper is unsure about attending camp, consider visiting camp while we are in session for a camp tour.

1.

The 2008 Camp brochure will be sent out FIRST to all waiting list campers (those who did not get into camp last season—2007).  These families will be given the opportunity to file their application first, however, it does not guarantee them a spot in camp.  Waiting list campers are simply given a head start over everyone else in the application process to get their applications in first.

2.

After a two week period, the remaining brochures will be sent out to all campers who attended in previous years, as well as those people who requested brochures over this past year.

3.

ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR BROCHURE:
bullet Fill out the Request for Application form.  Please be sure to answer all questions!  Send this back to Beth Rowe at the address listed in the brochure.  Be sure to include your $25 non-refundable application fee.  You will not receive an application without it.
bullet PLEASE:  Be aware that returning the Pre-Registration form secures your camper a spot in camp as long as space is still available.  If camp is already full, your camper's name automatically goes on the waiting list.  You MUST continue with the rest of the application process, as described below, to guarantee your camper's spot in camp.  Failure to send in the required paperwork listed below in Box 4 by April 15th forfeits your camper's spot and moves him/her to the waiting list.  So, get your paperwork in early!

4.

ONCE YOUR REQUEST IS RECEIVED, YOU WILL BE SENT AN APPLICATION PACKET:
  • Please fill out and immediately return these five forms (must be received by April 15th):
    • the new application form (one page, lilac in color),
    • the payment arrangement form (one page, white in color),
    • the application for financial aid (one page, double sided, grey in color, if applicable; a copy of the first page of your 2007 tax return can be submitted separately by April 30th at the latest)
    • the newly combined personal/background medical history form (3 pages, double sided, turquoise in color),
    • the new prospective camper consent form (one page, white in color).
  • Once you have filled out these forms, immediately send them back to:

Beth Rowe

ADA Camp Carefree

PO Box 342

Newmarket, NH  03857

  • Receipt and review of the forms by April 15th, along with space availability, will determine if a spot is guaranteed for your camper.  Beth will send you a post card confirmation.
  • The remaining forms in the packet will be due (as indicated) by May 15th.
  • Around June 15th, Beth will be sending you a second packet, which will include some other forms.  Please follow the instructions in the letter included with this packet to determine which forms to mail back by July 15th, and which forms to bring opening day of camp.
