Pre-camp: provide
nutrition/diabetes education to counselors and new staff; develop camp
menu and coordinate items needed for food order with camp cook. |

Train and
supervise dietetic interns, students and volunteers. Ensure all are
aware of emergency procedures and prepared to carry them out. |

Oversee the
provision of meals and snacks during the camp session. Communi-cate
concerns/suggestions to the Camp Director and/or LCP Kitchen Staff. |

Develop meal plan
information for campers, CITs, and counseling staff. |

Coordinate with
medical staff with regard to diabetes management changes. |
 |
Oversee the
provision of special diet foods/plan special diet menus. |
 |
Ensure Table
Records are collected and awards are prepared and given out to the top
camper at each table on Awards Night. |

Prepare Dietetic
information and each camper’s Meal Record forms to be distributed to
each camper/family on Closing Day. |
 |
Complete dietetic
intern and student evaluations. |
 |
Recruit volunteer
dietetic staff. |
