RD, DTR, nutrition/dietetics students who has
an interest in working with children who
have Type I Diabetes |

Basic knowledge of nutrition, diabetes
meal planning guidelines, and carbohydrate counting |

RESPONSIBLE TO |
Dietary Coordinator,
and Camp Director |

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES |
Assist in carrying out a program of
food service, nutrition assessment, and dietary education |
|
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
|
Assist in the planning, preparation,
and provision of meal/snack activities |
|
|
Conduct nutrition assessments |
|
|
Develop individualized
meal/carbohydrate plans |
|
|
Make adjustments to camper
meal/carbohydrate plans throughout camp as indicated |
|
|
Monitor meal/snack time dietary
activities |
|
|
Assist with the provision of formal
and informal nutrition educational opportunities for campers |
|
|
Perform other duties as delegated by
the Dietary Coordinator and Camp Director |
